Who am I?
Hi, I’m Aaron. I write guides on how to start and scale a dropshipping business.
I built a 7-figure dropshipping business from my bedroom.
Now it’s time to share my secrets with the world.
A Little Background About Me
- I started my first successful business when I was just 20 years old, but quickly learned that it wouldn’t be sustainable (more on that later).
- From a very early age, I knew that I wanted to be my own boss which pushed me to dive even further into the entrepreneurial world.
- In 2019 I found out about drop shipping and the power of Facebook ads. This is where I really began to find success in the digital world and I did it all from my bedroom too!
- I am a builder at heart. I love diving into new technologies or concepts and figuring out how they work. I’m starting this blog to teach others all the skills I’ve learned along the way.
- Anyone can earn money online and be proud of what they do. I want to teach others that it is possible to create income online with a little work.
- This is the first blog I’ve launched.
The full story about Aaron Berry
This is my story on how I built a 7-figure dropshipping business all from my own bedroom.
I grew up in a pretty well known area of Michigan called West Bloomfield. Both my parents worked in a flower shop business together. The business originated on my father’s side of the family dating back to before the 1950s! Wesley Berry Flowers was a household name in Oakland County Michigan for decades.
It’s really cool to think back at all the great experiences I got from working at the store at such an early age too. I remember hating it at the time because all my friends would be out having fun, while I was stuck at the store working…
But honestly, those are some of the best memories I have. Nothing beats working alongside your family, especially your father.
My dad was what you would call a pioneer of the digital era too. He saw an opportunity to grow the flower business online and did just that. For years, we controlled dozens of domains that would consistently rank on the first page or Google search results. He then pivoted to scaling his business harder with paid ads growth tactics and IT WORKED.
My dad turned a little flower shop in Michigan into a $65 million dollar enterprise… And I’m honestly really lucky to have been just a little part of it. The lessons I learned while working there still impact my life to this day. Which is how I got my first taste of digital marketing.
Before I was even 20, I was helping my dad manage million-dollar ad campaigns. Talk about having a lot of responsibility put in your hands at such an age. Let’s not forget, that I’m just some kid from Michigan…
Fast forward a few years.
Nothing lasts forever right?
After working for the family business for so long, you almost forget what it’s like to work in the real world as I call it. With no job and no way to make income, I had to figure out what my next move was going to be.
And it really didn’t take me long to figure out what to do with the newfound skills I had acquired while working in the business for so long.
It was time to put my talents to the test. What started as a silly meme page turned into a legitimate business pretty fast.
Within a few months, my audience had grown to hundreds of thousands of followers and things were looking great.
Supreme Patty even did a video wearing one of our flags.
I’ll be the first to admit that mistakes were made with this business.
First, I was never very focused on building the audience outside of our main platform which was Instagram.
Secondly, I should have focused more on profit margins especially with the amount of inventory I was buying in branded merch. (I’m sure my parents weren’t too pleased with me using their basement as a warehouse š¤£)
It’s honestly crazy how fast this business came to a halt. One day I wake up and the account is suspended.
Don’t get me wrong, I tried for months to get the account reinstated. This is before Facebook even changed their name to Meta. Anyways, they were not interested in hearing our story.
So there I am again, back to square one.
Quick Fact:
At 23 years old I still lived with my parents and had no idea what I was going to do with my life. My motivation was low but I knew deep down I wanted more with my life.
Now I have built multiple 7-figure businesses and I want to show others it’s completely possible to do on your own.
Now, I’m about to share with you how I built my first 7-figure business from my bedroom.
Finding success in 2019
Ironically, the term dropshipping wasn’t that new to me when I started seeing all these fake “gurus” show up on YouTube in 2019.
Not to mention, I already had some hands-on experience from working in the flower business. Dropshipping flowers made up a good percentage of our annual revenue, so I knew how things worked and what processes needed to be in place to do something of my own.
Using methods I learned from Gabriel St. Germain’s Mastermind Course, I started my own dropshipping business and launched a website.
Most people would have given up by the time I found a winning product too.
It’s not without saying that dropshipping is by no means easy in fact, it’s pretty dang hard and it takes quiet a bit of patience.
But if you stick to a process, I can almost guarantee you will see some sort of results.
I tested at least a dozen products before finding one that could give me profitable sales.
But I stuck with my process and eventually found a winner.
This is where things started to get really crazy and what allowed me to scale this business to 7-figures in just 12 months…
I think working with large budgets in my past job, gave me a lot more comfort when I was managing those large budgets for myself.
I didn’t seem to get as emotional over the data, my decision making was concise, and I was making the right moves with my ad campaigns.
It almost sort of became a game for me. I would have my first $1,000 day in sales, then I’d break that and do $5,000, and I just kept trying to raise the bar to see how far I could take it.
Hitting $15k in sales on a single product seemed pretty remarkable to me at the time.
Honestly to this day, it still does.
What you need to understand about all this is that, I failed all the way to this point. My first business wiped over night, dozens of failed products before finding this one…
Success is not without failure and I truly live by those words. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t also embrace all my failures and understand that those are just my trials to get to success.
If you want to learn how to launch and scale a successful dropshipping business, you’re definately in the right spot.
